YAM Interview
YAM! magazine: October 4 2000
YAM!: Are you afraid of traveling by plane after making the movie "Final Destination”?
Devon: No, not really. I often travel by plane; sometimes I have a funny feeling, when I look out of the window. It was worse when I was sitting on the plane to L.A. reading the script for "Flight 180", that was really creepy. "Flight 180" was the first title for the film, but it has been changed, because "Flight 180" really exist and the film wouldn't be good publicity for it.
YAM!: Did you ever have premonitions?
Devon: No, I generally think little about super sensory things.
YAM!: What is your favorite scene in "Final Destination”?
Devon: The scene in which the girl is running by over by a bus.
YAM!: What do you think about violence in movies and computer games?
Devon: I'm not against it. But I don't like it when little children watch it. I don't think that "Final Destination" is violent, the film is entertaining. There is some violence in it, but children under 16 can't watch the film and so I see no problem in it.
YAM!: Is it true, that you've been a teenager star in America?
Devon: Yes. At the age of 15. I made the film "Casper" and because of this I became something like a teenager idol.
YAM!: Have you got any brothers or sisters?
Devon: Yes, a younger brother and a younger sister. My sister tried to act some months ago, but she gave it up.
YAM!: What's your next film?
Devon: I just finished shooting "Slackers".
