Welcome, Devon Sawa. It is indeed a pleasure to have you here this evening.
Devon: It's a pleasure to be here.
Let’s get right to the questions:
Question: Hey, Devon! Well, first things first I'm a big fan! I've liked you since "Casper"! How do you feel this film "Final Destination" is different from all the other projects you've done?
Devon: It's the first kind of young adult film that I've done. It deals with more mature issues and is overall a more mature movie.
Question: What character are you most like out of all of your movies?
Devon: It would have to be Anton from "Idle Hands," just because I'm lazy as he is.
Question: Devon, do you have any television appearances coming up this week or anytime soon? If so, on what shows?
Devon: There are no TV shows. There are a couple of entertainment news shows. I'll be on "Fox and Friends" on Friday, "Entertainment Tonight" and "Access Hollywood" this week, along with other various promotional shows.
Question: Hi, I'm Jean and I was wondering, what did you do in your free time while filming "Final Destination?
Devon: There wasn't a lot of free time. "Final Destination" shot mostly at night for about 14 hours every night, so I did a lot of sleeping. When I did have time off set, I would play video games or watch a lot of movies.
Question: Hi, Devon! Why would you recommend seeing your new film?
Devon: Because it's an original movie. There's nothing else out there like it. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat. I guarantee you'll be entertained and scared.
Question: Devon, I was wanting to know why you cut your hair? I mean, you looked hot before. I am not saying that you don't look hot now. But I was just kind of wanting to know.
Devon: It's much easier to do when you wake up. I just needed a change in my life, and so I decided to chop off my hair. :) I felt it was more the character I was playing.
Question: With all the movies that you've been in and your career being really great right now, how is all of this affecting you personally?
Devon: I don't believe that it is affecting me personally, and I hope that it doesn't in the future. I try to go back to Vancouver, Canada to see my parents as much as possible so that I can stay grounded.
Question: Do you like computers, and do you have a web site?
Devon: I do like computers. I do have a web site, but I don't do it. I will have one myself eventually, sometime in the future... I'll keep everyone posted, but at the present time I do not have one.
Question: Do you ever chat on AOL?
Devon: No, I don't. I just moved back to Los Angeles, but I haven't gotten online yet. I've been to busy promoting "Final Destination"
Question: Why did they change the title from "Flight 180" to "Final Destination?"
Devon: They felt "Final Destination" was a stronger name and a little catchier. They being the studio :)
Question: At what age did you film your first movie?
Devon: My first movie was doing at the age of 15, which was "Casper". Before that I appeared in several TV shows and various commercials.

Devon: You know what, I've had so many, I can't really pinpoint one right now.
Question: Is if hard to keep in touch with old friends, and have any of them stuck by you now that you've gotten big?
Devon: Yes, definitely some have. It's definitely hard to keep close to old friends because I've moved to Los Angeles. But I keep in touch as much as possible.
Question: Hey, Devon! Do you think your character in "Final Destination" is different in a significant way from all the other characters you've played?
Devon: Yes, Alex Browning is not the most popular guy in school, and he goes through so many different emotions, unlike the other characters in my previous movies.
