"Idle Hands" Trivia

» Devon couldn't make the Idle Hands commentary because he was in Vancouver at the time filming another movie. (possibly The Guilty)

» Throughout the whole movie, the cast — Elden Henson and Seth Green along with the director comment on how great an actor Devon is. The director comments on how dedicated Devon is. Seth Green thinks Devon is hilarious and made him crack up the whole time during filming.

» Devon's own ideas were when Anton was washing his mouth with soap after smoking that Nutmeg and Oregano together. The Joy soap was really soap.

» Devon's own acting also took place where he went to Molly's house and was ringing the door bell, that is after he found out he was a killer.

» The knife that Anton used to cut off his hand was really sharp, it wasn't rubber or anything.

» Randy played by Jack Noseworthy, his adopted sister was on the movie. She was the girl at the Burger Jungle who he thought he was gonna get some action with.

» Ricky Martin was seen on Idle Hands. He wanted to be seen a few times. You can see him wearing a blue shirt.

» Thomas DeLonge from Blink 182 was seen as the drive-thru duty man before Anton arrived at the Burger Jungle.

» Filming took two months.

» Devon Sawa was 19 during filming.

» The deleted pool scene was shot on May 29th, 1998.

» Killing Mick and Pnub scenes were shot on June 8th, 1998.

» Molly riding the motorbike past Pnub's house with Anton looking out of the window was shot on June 3rd, 1998.
