Starshine Devon Sawa

Devon Completes Your Thoughts

When it comes to Devon Sawa, Boppers want to know everything, and we do mean everything. From the ever-popular "How do you feel about dating a fan?" to the less-often-asked-equally-fascinating "What kind of toothpaste do you use?", these questions add up to a beautifully random assortment of curiosities. And because it is our duty, goal and desire to make you happy, we recently sat this 17-year-old down and asked him to finish the following sentences.

BOP: The thing that my friends like most about me is...

The fact they they can hang around my house and eat my food! No, I guess it's that I try to be myself around them and I never talk about acting, and they never talk about it either. I mean, as soon as we hang out together, acting goes unsaid. So it's really cool, I'm my normal self.

My most annoying habit is...

Biting my fingernails. My mom hates me for it. She says, "Stop biting your fingernails!"

BOP: The way I feel about dating a fan is...

I don't know...I mean, I wouldn't go out of my way to date one. But I guess if I met a fan and I got to know her really well and stuff like that, then it could be cool. I have to get to know a girl.

BOP: I would make a good boyfriend because...

I'm caring. I'm sensitive, I'm down to earth and...I don't wear a lot of makeup. I was just joking about that last one.

BOP: If I could have starred in one movie, it would have been...

Pulp Fiction. No, Star Wars I have to say Star Wars.

BOP: The most difficult character I've ever played is...

Probably Junior Floyd of Little Giants, because he was completely different from how I am. I mean, it was cool playing him and was a fun shoot. But the character, sorry. The character wasn't a challenge. You know, there was no emotion. There were no colors or anything. No nothing. It was just flat.

BOP: If I could go back in time, I would go to...

The cowboy era. I would ride with Billy the Kid.

BOP: The best Christmas present I ever received was...

It was like a remote controlled Godzilla back when I was five years old. It was on these little rollers, but needed a remote control to move it around. It broke, so we had to replace it with a remote control tank, but it was still cool while it lasted.

BOP: That gift was from...

My mom {Joyce}. No, it was from Santa Claus. Sorry, Santa Clause.

BOP: The most important thing that my mother ever taught me was...

Um...I guess manners, respect and...how to iron my pants.

BOP: If my family and I could live anywhere, we would...

Live in Hawaii.

BOP: If I could change one thing about myself, it would be...

I would make myself a little fatter.

BOP: If I had to change one thing about my brother, it would be...

Uh, I don't know...I wouldn't change anything about him. I like the way he is. He's a cool kid.

BOP: I love my little sister Stephanie because...

She sings well. She's also just very different. She has a lot of character. She is very different from a lot of girls I know and all the little girls in her class. But mostly because she has a lot of character.

BOP: The kind of shampoo I use is...

[has to think of awhile]...My mom has these blue bottles of stuff that she gets from the salon. I don't know what it's called. My mom uses it, so I steal it from her.

BOP: The toothpaste that I use is...

Whatever kind is there...Whatever my mom buys from the supermarket, like Crest or Colgate or something.

BOP: The one thing I haven't had time for lately is...

Soccer, sports. I don't have any time for them. I haven't played soccer for months and months. But it's crazy. When I get home, I walk the dog.

BOP: The thing I need to get done on my next day off is...

I need to get some sleep done!
